Bio
My work in the corporate world includes starting and managing what became the number four online banking business in the U.S. (BayBank, then BankBoston and eventually absorbed by Bank of America), as well as leading complex development projects at financial, consumer electronics and high-tech firms including HP, Bose and Sovereign Bank. I currently oversee strategic marketing and sustainability initiatives at an enterprise software company in Burlington, Massachusetts, and have a PMP certification (the equivalent of a CPA for project management).
Beginning with a college job at Yellowstone Park, I’ve since lived in several countries including Canada, France, Belgium, Japan, and this past summer visited my 45th country (Thailand) with a goal to see at least 100 countries in my lifetime. My outside involvement includes church committees, working at a homeless shelter, helping build a solar house as part of an MIT competition, and I’ve taught Sunday School for several years. It’s the combination of teaching kids plus leading highly creative/complex corporate initiatives that has allowed me to bring a unique focus to these workshops.
